Author Guideline

General

Original work that has never been published before or is currently being considered for publication elsewhere should be included in all submitted submissions. Articles from any nation may be contributed as long as they are solely in English. Articles can include any number of pages, but authors should try to communicate their findings as succinctly and clearly as possible. The authors must specify in the cover note to the editor whether the work is intended for consideration as a research article, short communication, or review article.

Peer review policy

Peer review will determine whether a manuscript is authentic and appropriate for publication in the journal. An email confirming the manuscript's acceptance will be forwarded to the relevant author's address.

Submission of Manuscript

Authors can submit their articles only through the online Submit a Paper system. It is recommended that authors send their works solely in MS Word format, together with a scanned PDF copy of the letter of publication and copyright form officially signed by the author or authors.

File size

Unless required, no article should be longer than ten pages. Authors will be asked to provide evidence for the additional pages if this is the case. The maximum file size allowed for submission through the manuscript submission portal in Microsoft Word format is 10 MB.

Language

We only process articles written in English; submissions in other languages are not accepted.

Font type

Articles should be typed using the "Times New Roman" font pattern with a single line spacing.

Size

For heading or title: 24 points and Bold do not capitalize the titles unnecessarily unless required, e.g. HPTLC, HPLC, UV, GC, TLC, SEM, TEM, etc.)
Author/Coauthor name: 10 points
Affiliation/ Institute name: 10 points
For subtitles: 10 points and Bold
Content of article: 12 points
Table title and Content: 10 points
Space- 1.15

Submission Instruction:

  • Front Page (Page-1): Title of article, authors' names, authors' institutional affiliations only and leave other spaces empty
  • Second Page (Page-2): Start with an abstract of about 200-400 words exactly conveying the content of the article, Keywords (at least 5 words)
  • Third Page (Page-3 onwards): Main content text with all tables and figures aligned in their proper place (do not send tables and figures separately unless requested), List of symbols and Abbreviations, Acknowledgement, References (follow standard format)
  • Preparation of manuscripts: Manuscripts should be submitted as per order: Title Page, name of author (s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements (if necessary), and References. If the Result and Discussion sections are combined, then a Conclusion section should be added.
  • Title Page: The first page should contain a concise and informative title, the names and addresses of the authors, and contact details of the corresponding author (postal address, e-mail, and fax and telephone numbers).
  • Introduction: This part should define the background and significance of the study by considering the relevant literature, particularly the most recent publications.
  • Material and Methods: Please provide concise but complete information about the material and the analytical, statistical, and experimental procedures used. This part should be as clear as possible to enable other scientists to repeat the research presented.
  • Results: In this part, the same data/ information given in a table must not be repeated in a figure, or vice versa. It is not acceptable to repeat extensively the numerals from tables into text and give lengthy and unnecessary explanations of the Tables and Figures.
  • Discussion: This part must be written concerning the tables and figures and by considering information from the literature. Statements made in the Introduction and Results sections should not be repeated here.
  • Acknowledgments: If necessary, a brief Acknowledgements section may be included.

References

  • References should be cited in the text in Arabic numerals in superscript. The references should be cited at the end of the manuscript in the order of their appearance in the text. For citation of references with three or more authors, only the first author's name followed by et al. should be used. References to journal articles, books, chapters in books, etc. should be cited, as follows:

Figures:

  • Photos or drawings (Maximum 5 Photos or drawings) must have a good contrast of dark and light. Legends of figures should be brief, but complete and self-explanatory so that the reader can easily understand the results presented in the figure. Figure legends should be attached to the figures. All figure numbers should be arranged orderly, the figures should not be supplied separately but pasted in the proper place. The figure number and title should be given below the figure, and the content of the figure should be explained in the title of the figure.

Tables:

  • All tables (Maximum 5 Tables) should be numbered in order with grid lines. The table number should be properly given, large size tables should be split into two or more tables so that it can be accommodated within the page size. Table width and cell sizing should be even and all the content should be left-side aligned. The number of the tables and title should be given above the tables and without any border, shading. Do not give on separate page. The table should with a brief but complete and self-explanatory caption so that the reader can easily understand the results presented in the table. Please do not duplicate material that is already presented in the figures.

  • The author(s) shall provide the plagiarism report with the submission of the manuscript.
